When Ms. Hong Van completed her PhD in Biology, she had already been living in Russia for 10 years. During her early days in Russia, she was deeply moved by the friendliness of the people, especially the warm welcome from the Vietnamese community in the city. This inspired her to start her first Vietnamese classes out of sheer love for teaching. Little did she know that this would become one of the most wonderful experiences she ever had, bringing Vietnamese language and culture closer to many children. She soon realized her passion for teaching languages, not only Vietnamese but also English. This passion grew even stronger as she pursued her doctoral studies in education. Ms. Van is delighted to create effective lessons for her beloved students and is happy to see them becoming more confident in their language abilities every day. She is currently also pursuing her second Master's degree in Linguistics at Astrakhan State University. Being a teacher at Zen City Academy makes her feel confident and proud, as she has the opportunity to work with creative educators and adorable students.
