Ms. Anna Ustyuzhanina
Ms. Anna is so happy to be a part of the Zen City Foundation team!
Currently, she is a prof at Polytechnic University, a substitute teacher of English and French in a nursery school, and also an employer of a ceramic workshop, where she teaches kids to model and paint toys made of clay. She has a degree in visual arts and English and French teaching. She graduated from Pedagogical University and her first job was as a camp leader in a summer camp, where she first understood that she can create really positive learning environment through properly designed activities. Since then, she has been teaching various subjects for about 27 years and she enjoys it so much! She believes a classroom is a small world where we make our lives exciting and full of development and discovery.
She loves helping students to build skills through learning experiences, so at lessons she creates various opportunities for them to express themselves, and to be involved in effective communication and thinking, where each lesson is a discovery. She thinks, all students can enjoy learning, and her objective is to provide them with appropriate tasks so that they could learn with pleasure and achieve everyday small or big successes.
For all her life she has been learning too. In 2019 she got my C1 Cambridge certificate for language proficiency, and in 2023 – TEFL/TESOL certificate, because her dream was to teach students all over the world. She is looking forward to meeting her students at Zen City Foundation!
